My Story

About Me

Meet Mukku

Hey there, friends! I’m Mukarram Sultan (otherwise also called as Mukku) from Bangalore (Garden city of India), I’m so thrilled that you have stumbled upon my blog! I’m a passionate Hobbyist about gardening and everything there is to it! and it comes naturally to me, I say this because staying near Lalbagh and having watched its beautiful gardens day in and out, always had me fantasizing to start my own garden and I also happen to stay in an area called Wilson Garden 😀 so I think I was destined for this.

I started Gardeninsider in July 2019 while I was taking digital marketing courses at that time, so I took these classes because I wanted to know how an e-commerce works and ways to get an e-commerce company started and marketed. In my early career days, I worked for Amazon and after which I was clueless about what I wanted to do next in life, so one my friend suggested me to take up these classes knowing my interests in the e-commerce. It wasn’t long before I got the idea of blogging about my hobby.

I’m truly passionate about creating beautiful gardens, maintaining them and also helping others achieve the same, you could get the palpable sense of this idea when you start reading my blog posts with easy to follow gardening tips.

To try to make it more simple in the area of starting your own garden, I have created space called Browser to garden, where you can enter the type of conditions prevailing in the space you want to start your garden and I’ll help you with selecting the suitable plants you can grow in that space.

just a leaf from my story

PASSION IS RELENTLESS DETERMINATION TO ACHIEVE WHATEVER IS MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU...

Not every one of us can plan their future and drive our lives as one wishes to. We plan something but life has something else for us. I was always inspired by Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, how these people were multitalented in both the fields of arts and science and I always wanted to be like them.

Here is a small Illustration of my artistic side

Now coming to the science part, I joined college in 2012, I had very less affinity towards computer programming, I just couldn’t sit at one place for too long, I always liked to be in action. My dad had a small steel industry in Bangalore, so I opted for Mechanical Engineering, thinking I could join my dad even if I did not get a job. During my visits to the factory, I always used to get fascinated by observing the machines work and was always interested to know how they worked, so I loved and focused more on subjects like manufacturing processes and theory of machines during my engineering.

After my graduation, I joined my dad, not that I didn’t look for jobs but it was just that I couldn’t clear the interviews in my campus placements, but it turned out I was not able to engage myself full time there, so I looked for jobs again.

In 2017 I got my first job at Amazon, I worked for them for a year, as I told you before I just couldn’t sit at one place for long hours and plus the job got mundane, after resigning, I got myself trained on a few things but that also didn’t help me plan something that I wanted to be in the future, I always had this phrase in my mind “do what you love and you’ll never have to work another day in your life”, I saw a few people achieving this in life and I’d always wanted to be a part of this club. So here I’m doing what I love and I hope to grow this more. 😊
